2012 Topps Opening Day Baseball Box Break Recap And Review

It is Opening Day for Major League Baseball (at least the main one) so it is the perfect time to review 2012 Topps Opening Day Baseball Cards.  As in past years, Opening Day essentially mimics Topps Series 1 & 2 for base card design, but then offers a lot of great inserts.  At just about a buck a pack, Opening Day always seems to hit it's mark.  While it might skew towards younger collectors, there is still enough here for experienced collectors.  Opening Day is a lot of fun and perfect for set building.

Opening Day could easily fit into both our fun cards and trading cards categories, but for the purpose of this review, we will classify Opening Day as fun cards.  Opening Day can be found in many different retail configurations.  We opened a complete box that contained 36 packs with 7 cards per pack.  There are autographs to be found in Opening Day, but they are rare to find.

Here is a look at some of the cards we pulled.
