Our 2012 Panini America NFL Player of the Day promotion is over and I hope you all had fun participating. Without the need to try to find equally balanced players for our Weekly Challenge Questions, we can return to selecting three players who are worth following this week.
So here are this week’s Panini NFL Stickers Players to Watch.
Our featured players for Week 14 are Joe Flacco, Ahmad Bradshaw and Calvin Johnson.
It seems like Joe Flacco of the Baltimore Ravens has alternating weeks of good and bad games. In one week he will throw for about 150 yards and then the next week it will be for over 300 yards. Last week against the Steelers, Flacco completed 16 of 24 passes for 188 yards so it would seem he is due for a big game this Sunday. Luckily for him the Ravens are up against the Redskins, a team that is averaging about 300 yards thrown against them, the 2nd worse in the NFL.
Ahmad Bradshaw of the New York Giants recorded his first 100+ yard rushing game since Week 6. Now Bradshaw is at home and goes up against the New Orleans Saints who have allowed 153.8 rushing yards on average per game, which is the most of any team in the NFL. Bradshaw should see a majority of the touches in this game.
After proving last week he only really needs one hand to catch a football, Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions is poised to break the NFL record for most consecutive 125-yard receiving game as he faces the just below average Green Bay Packers pass defense that gives up over 250 yards per game.
