Randy Moss Returns To The NFL With The San Francisco 49ers In A One-Year Deal

Wide Receiver Randy Moss and the San Francisco 49ers have agreed to terms on a one-year deal.  Perhaps the value of my Topps Chrome rainbow has just gone up.

Coach Jim Harbaugh stood in as Quarterback today because current 49ers can't throw in a workout for the team until the league year begins Tuesday at 4 p.m. EST.  Harbaugh threw passes to Moss in the workout and clearly Harbaugh was pleased because terms on a one-year deal were completed before the end of the day.

Moss worked out last Tuesday with the New Orleans Saints and word is they were impressed too, but did not proceed further.

Moss retired last year after 13 seasons in the NFL, making waves off the field, saying things he probably shouldn’t have said, bouncing between teams and fighting with Tom Brady over hair length. In spite of his personality that often invited ridicule; there is no denying what he has done on the field of play.  Moss is tied for second in NFL history with Terrell Owens having caught 153 career touchdowns as a receiver and is fifth in career yards with 14,858.
